Policies and Procedures

A Parent must sign their child in and out of the center at each visit. Your child will be released only to the parent who signed them in, unless otherwise specified by filling out a pick up authorization form. All parents should be prepared to show a picture I.D. upon picking up their children. For your family's protection, we have a Child Identification Release System. The system will be explained to you upon membership. Please tag or mark all bags and personal belongings brought to KIDS PLAY TWO with your child's name. If your child is in the process of being toilet-trained please be sure to inform us upon check-in, and bring extra clothing. KIDS PLAY TWO closes promptly each evening.

A late fee of $1.00 will be charged for each 1 minute increment or portion there of past closing.

KIDS PLAY TWO will not release any child to a parent who appears intoxicated. If you choose to drink please ensure there is a designated driver in your party.

Parents are welcome to visit KIDS PLAY TWO any time during our normal hours of operation to observe their child, our operations, and our program activities.

The director may be contacted with any questions or concerns about KIDS PLAY TWO's policies and procedures at (972)394-2977. A copy of the minimum standards and recent licensing of inspection reports are posted in the main lobby of KIDS PLAY TWO.

KIDS PLAY TWO reserves the right to make changes and to update KIDS PLAY TWO policies. Parents will be notified and given a new copy when this has been done. When needed, we will update our policies to comply with any changes made to the Texas State Childcare Rules & Regulations. Your drop in daycare needs are always first in our mind. We work to provide the best play place for your children.

Illness

Any child that appears to be ill, has a fever, or any other communicable disease cannot be admitted. If your child becomes ill during a visit to KIDS PLAY TWO, the parents will be immediately contacted, the child will be separated from other children until the parent arrives. In case of emergency our staff is First Aid and CPR certified, and will attend to the child until proper emergency personnel arrive.

Personal Belongings

KIDS PLAY TWO does not take responsibility for articles left at the center. We kindly ask that all personal toys either be left at home or taken with parents. Any other personal items such as blankets and other pacifying articles need to be clearly labeled. We look forward to caring for your child soon!

Discipline

Redirection and / or a short "time-away" from activities is our method of behavior modification. We expect children to follow our rules for the safety of not only themselves, but all the children at the center. For the safety of all children at KIDS PLAY TWO unusually aggressive children will be asked not to return to the center until appropriate social behavior is achieved.
